John Mullins, CEO of Bord Gais launches MERC Partners Energy Sector Report

John Mullins, CEO of Bord Gais recently joined Bill Hennessy of MERC Partners for the launch of Bill Hennessy's survey report entitled: "Staffing the Energy Sector - A survery on Current and Future Skills Needs".

Having surveyed senior executives across the sector, the consensus findings indicate that Ireland has the opportunity to become a global leader in the energy sector if the right educational / vocational preparation strategies are developed and if R&D programmes are pursued in the areas where Ireland has stolen a lead - for example in wind, wave and ocean current energy.
