Due to the promotion of the incumbent the need has arisen to appoint a Medical Director. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction across all functions of the Medical department to ensure all activities are based on scientific validity, clinical importance, fiscal feasibility and aligned to the core medical plans and business needs. Reporting into Executive Director EMEA Medical Affairs with a dotted line to the General Manager of the Irish Operations, the Medical Director is responsible for leading the Medical Department, ensuring their continued growth and development and ability to consistently deliver superior results.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced medical affair professional with previous line management experience who wants to take the next step in their career into a leadership role. This role will give someone the chance to have significant impact on the business and develop themselves as a leader. A PhD, MD or MB BCh is essential for this role.
