MERC Partners has been retained to assist in the identification of a VP Sales, who will play a major role in delivering these ambitions. Reporting to the Managing Director, the VP Sales will identify, engage, and close business at strategic account level, providing sales leadership and direction at the highest tier in the organisation. The VP Sales will apply innovative approaches to the maximisation of revenue and margin and the provision of best in class service in terms of sales execution.
Ambitious, energetic and with a hunger for delivery, candidates will have a track record in identifying and winning, ideally high value, sales in a competitive market. Demonstrating proven ability in relationship building and sales closure, candidates must also have excellent communication skills, coupled with a well honed commercial awareness that is focused on bottom line achievement. In particular, candidates must display a willingness to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and do what is necessary to close and deliver for a young business.
