It operates in 12 countries across Europe, providing life, general and health insurance products to more than 20 million customers. The organisation plans to further expand its Pan-European business and has targeted considerable growth of its health insurance offering across the region. MERC Partners has been retained to assist in the process of identifying suitable candidates for this senior role which is Dublin-based. The Head of Market Structure (Europe) will be the organisation’s expert on pan-European health insurance regulations, assessing health and legislative frameworks on a local and pan-European level, supporting and mobilising new market entry. Candidates will be bright, business-minded and dynamic lawyers, with significant experience of ensuring regulatory compliance in an expanding cross-border financial services organisation. Prior exposure to the health insurance sector, while advantageous, is not a pre-requisite.
