Our client is part of one of Europe’s strongest financial institutions and came out as one of the best-capitalised in last year’s European stress tests.
 
As part of the organisation’s plans to forge a long term profitable future in Ireland, it recently underwent a radical restructuring and is rolling out an ambitious strategy including providing high-end tailored financial services for private clients.
 
Reporting to the Head of Private Banking, the key objective is a unique one in the Irish market, advisory in nature and focused on customers’ entire balance sheet and therefore holistic in approach.
 
The person appointed will identify, engage, and develop deep business relationships with clients providing leadership and direction at the highest tier in the organisation. Ambitious, energetic and with a hunger for delivery, candidates will have a track record in managing high performance teams and improving operational efficiencies. Demonstrating proven ability in relationship building, candidates must also have excellent communication skills, with a well honed commercial awareness that is focused on bottom line achievement within a highly regulated environment. 
 
Managing a large professional team, the person appointed is likely to have at least six years financial services/professional services experience in wealth management with a track record in senior management. The person appointed will have strong credit risk management, legislative and statutory knowledge coupled with the experience of developing and leading customer growth strategies.
