An engineer with excellent networking skills, the Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying, securing and developing new business opportunities. He/she will develop and cement customer relationships and will have the ability to manage at both a strategic and hands-on level.
The ability to champion the customer and, in liaison with design engineers, translate the customer’s needs into high spec turn-key solutions is vital. Candidates will have worked in a high volume manufacturing environment and will be familiar with the manufacture and integration of automated machines and systems. Strong commercial acumen, as well as excellent influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to understand client technical needs, will be essential to succeed in the role. Applicants will be educated to degree level.
